This is a True Story - Part 1

Message Text

Mark 16:1-3

When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?”

Message Notes

1. What are you preparing for?

No matter how many times God proves to us that His promises are true and that He is indeed faithful, we always seem to need a backup plan in case faith doesn’t work.

2. How can we move the stone?

We spend an enormous amount of time and energy attempting to “fix” things that God has already resolved.

Sin, Suffering, Hopelessness.

We should never let the obstacle that God has already moved keep us from taking the journey.
