Team Hope is going back to Guatemala to work with missionaries Kenny and Lacey Horton! In 2022, we worked with the Hortons and ChildHope on school buildings. In 2023, we will be going to ChildHope schools, doing Christmas programs and passing out Christmas presents!

The school year in Guatemala runs January through October. ChildHope sponsors pay for the education of a child, allowing children to go past the government-provided third grade level of education. Part of the sponsorship is providing a present for Christmas, as most of these children come from families that are not able to afford Christmas presents. Since the school year finishes in October, the programs must be done before then.

Anyone that is 16 years or older is eligible for this trip, and 14 year olds can come if a parent is with them. We recommend that you have a current tetanus vaccination due to the areas that we are traveling to, but no other vaccinations are required to travel. You must have a current passport that does not expire within 6 months of our return. Acceptance to the team is on a first-come, first-served basis, and $150 deposit keeps your spot.

The trip cost is $2,000, but could be less after airplane tickets are purchased.
